Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, adviser for Foreign Affairs, will be visiting Seoul on June 4, for a discussion on improving bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Mr. Chowdhury, during his four-day visit, will also meet the South Korean Labour Minister and sign a memorandum of understanding on recruitment of Bangladeshi workforce under a new arrangement - Employment Permit System (EPS).
This would permit Bangladeshis to work leaglly in Korea. Under the EPS, South Korea will recruit a total of some 50,000 skilled workers from 14 countries.
