Tareque Rahman, the former son of the Bangladeshi prime minister Khaleda Zia, who languishes in jail facing trial, is now facing a barrage of criticism from his adverse contemporaries.
In a recent interview the former head of the army and a member of the BNP hierachy, General Mahbubur Rahman said, "It was a mistake to appoint Tareque Rahman as the Joint Secretary General Secretary."
He also added that, the Bangladeshi Nationalist Party was facing a losing situation, due to errors made by Tareque Rahman.
