The proposed budget by the interim economics affairs adviser Dr Mirza Azizul Islam has urged the need for Bangladesh to implement education as the pillar of social development. Comments from a broad section of local analysts, however has suggested that, the 2007-2008 budget in Bangladesh is overwhelmingly ambitious.
The proposed financial-structure elaborates, the need to reach out to a major-section of society through mass-education programmes. Among the largest beneficiaries of the interim administrations budget are, IT (13.8%), Local-Government (22.9%) and Communication (15.2%).
