Bangladesh's chief anti-corruption prosecutor has resigned, just a month after being appointed.
Mahbubur Rahman, a former lawmaker in the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), was appointed chief prosecutor for the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) some weeks ago.
He had been a controversial choice, as many leading figures currently detained in the anti-corruption drive are BNP members.
