Bangladeshi drug maker Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd said on Wednesday it had started exporting to the Philippines.
Philippines is the fifth country in the 10-member Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) to import Beximco's drugs, the company said in a statement.
"In our strategic expansion plan, Philippines, being a member of the ASEAN, is a highly important market," - Beximco CEO Nazmul Hassan.
Exports to the Philippines include metered dose inhalers, and nasal sprays, as well as other medications.
