Sylhet Economic-Zone to be set up

A specialized economic-zone is to set-up in Sylhet, the north eastern division of Bangladesh.

In a primary assesment, the foreign affairs advisor to the current Bangladeshi authorities, Iftekhar Ahmed has advised the media.

On his visit to Sylhet, Dr. Chowdhury visited three locations in the region, including the Fenchugonj Fertiliser Factory site.

According to the minister, this visit was part of the current administrations nationwide initiative towards a growth-economy.
