Sylhet Mayor Kamran Accused

Badar Uddin Kamran, who often assumes the disguise of a distinguished Sylheti citizen, is now facing disgrace and humiliation. Accusations of racketeering and compromising decency (e.g. Encouraging Bootlegging and Prostitution), have emerged after his arrest by the joint forces.

Mr. Kamran was arrested from a hotel in Sylhet, by the joint-forces of the Bangladeshi administration. During a search of his home, the authorities discovered a large stock of foreign-alcohol.
