Tantia bets on Bangladesh

With a view to scale up its global operations, Tantia Constructions, an Indian conglomerate is targeting Bangaldesh's recent development initiatives.



Asked why the Kolkata-based company was looking at Bangladesh when India has a huge backlog in the infrastructure sector, he said projects in the neighbouring country ensure better margins.

"In addition to that, the terrain, language and lifestyle are very similar to that of West Bengal. These give us an added advantage.
